I’m sleep deprived, completely exhausted, and beyond happy!

Okay well I haven’t posted in a few days but I’m sure my six readers will understand why and forgive me.
so anyhow, I dropped Tamara off at the airport this morning and her plane should have taken off at 11:57 a.m., so I’m guessing she’s somewhere near Chicago if not already there.
This past week has been incredible although I doubt that either of us got enough sleep. It was really great getting to meet her after these past few months of long-distance communicating. In my mind we already were a couple but nonetheless meeting definitely makes things real. I just hope she had as much fun as I did and that we can continue moving forward with this relationship. I could say she certainly passed my tests (but I ALREADY NEW that) the real question is am I a keeper?
We were pretty much out and about the city every day except for last Thursday when we decided to just hang low and give Tamara a chance to work through jet lag and the time difference. Some of our sightseeing highlights included an afternoon spent walking around the byward market, attending my shul for Saturday services and then walking downtown (five or six kilometers) along the Ottawa Canal, and a trip to Wakefield QuĂ©bec on Sunday. Lots and lots of pictures were taken and I am sure Tamara will Want to post pictures on her blog so I’ll give her a chance to get home before I start posting too many.
She’s a lovely woman and is actually a very patient and caring person. I know that every one of my people who has had the chance to meet her have really liked her and think she’s a real catch. My (adopted) Ima basically told me not to blow it, there’s some advice I’ll try to take.
Anyhow I’m absolutely exhausted and need to get some rest this afternoon so that I can get back On top of my school stuff beginning tomorrow.
I will end by saying it was a great trip and with a little bit of luck I’ll be heading down for a month in October, and Tamara’s already talking about coming back up in December, I think she’d love Ottawa in late December with all of the holiday lights set up and with some luck snow on the ground.

Awesome! I’m glad you all had a great time. I’ll have to get the dirt from Tam later. LOL.

Wow, I hadn’t been reading long enough to have figured out that you two were a couple. That’s awesome!
